Youth

We build communities by investing in young people. We encourage them to rediscover their dreams, raise their expectations and rebuild their self-esteem by getting involved in urban regeneration.

If you think you've got what it takes for a career in architecture, planning, engineering or a related sector, but you don't know how to make it happen, why not call us today? Tell us about what you want to achieve, and about your dreams of changing the community you live in.

The Trust doesn't just look at what you might (or might not) have achieved at school or college: we want to help you discover what you can achieve in the future. We'll help you find the pathway to your own personal success.

We're working to change perceptions, challenge preconceptions and erase prejudice. But first of all we have to address the root causes of urban decay, youth disaffection and educational underachievement.

We help young people discover the alternative careers associated with the build environment, from urban design through to building construction. We help them rediscover their personal vision by focusing on community regeneration.

Architects, engineering firms and construction companies are desperate to find skilled people to help them build the communities of the future. We help school teachers spot the talents needed by the construction industry and encourage pupils to train as architects, designers, urban planners and building engineers!

Discovering Talent
We help people from disadvantaged backgrounds build their self-respect by building communities. To build communities you need social skills like patience, tolerance, understanding. But you also need practical skills - in design, architecture, engineering and logistics.

So we pioneer educational methods that will help anybody discover their talents and make the most of them - regardless of their academic qualifications. And once individuals discover their vocations, we sponsor them through to success.
