Companies help us in a variety of ways. A partnership with the Trust offers a high-profile opportunity for companies and their staff to demonstrate commitment to a variety of social causes, including...
  • Diversity and equality
  • Urban regeneration and community cohesion
  • Addressing the causes of urban decay, youth disaffection and educational underachievement
  • Improving urban design and sustainability
The Trust relies on fundraising to support all its work. Business sponsorship and company donations help the Trust to deliver its overall programme as well as specific projects and activities such as:
  • Mentoring
  • Bursaries and scholarships
  • Exhibitions and events
  • Schools programmes
  • The development of course and teaching material
  • Printing and publishing
  • Research
Whatever the size of your company's sponsorship budget, we will have an activity, publication or an event to match your company's sponsorship needs. Additional forms of support include:
  • Employee fundraising activities and events
  • Gifts and/or services-in-kind
  • Corporate payroll giving
  • Employee secondments
  • Sponsorship

Making donations
Following the changes in Gift Aid, it is even easier to give - simply make the donation for the full amount to The Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust. You no longer need to deduct tax before sending your donation to charity, and the charity no longer has to claim the tax back.

Don't forget that your gift can be offset against tax. To find out more, visit the Inland Revenue website. The Inland Revenue have a leaflet explaining corporate giving.
Support employee fundraising
For the employee, getting involved in fundraising at work can be fun and rewarding. It is an excellent way to get to know your colleagues better, learn something new or give yourself a challenge.

For the employer, encouraging staff to get involved in fundraising can help build teamwork, improve skills, and enhance your corporate image with staff, clients, suppliers and the community.
Donate gifts-in-kind
If you can provide any gifts-in-kind, such as goods we can raffle or offer as auction prizes at events, we would be very interested to hear from you. These gifts can help attract interest and support for The Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust. If you have any ideas for gifts you would like to donate, or to discuss any forms of corporate giving, please contact Jack Hiett at The Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust on 020 8100 2800.
