Claridge architects are an award-winning practice based in London and have recently signed up to support the Trusts flagship diversity and inclusion programme; The Building Futures Programme.
Marcus Claridge, Director of Claridge architects said “Claridge Architects wanted to get involved with the Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust as we believe everyone should have the opportunity to be an architect despite background, race or colour. We want to encourage equality of opportunity by offering time, support and skills learnt individually and collectively to those who share an interest in architecture as a career”
The practice kicked off their support last week, with several their team volunteering to supporting young aspiring architects through our mentoring programme, offering once monthly sessions on topics chosen by the young people.
Development Manager at the Trust, Neil Onions said, “Having Claridge Architects join the Trusts Building Futures Programme adds another leading practice to the Trusts network, we are extremely pleased to be working with the studio and look forward to witnessing the students develop on their journey with the practice’.
