The Vision of The Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust

Opening Doors and Opening Minds

The vision of the Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust is for the Trust that bears Stephen’s name to have as profound an impact on social justice that The Stephen Lawrence Inquiry has had on the criminal justice system.  The Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust is a national education charity committed to providing opportunity and access to disadvantaged young people; fostering positive community relationships, and enabling people to realise their potential.  Through creative methods the Trust addresses the causes of urban decay; youth disaffection and educational underachievement and supports young people by developing pathways into aspirational and sustainable employment.
